Mikdad receives copy of credentials of the new ambassador of Republic of Serbia to Syria

Damascus- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Faysal Mikdad, received on Thursday a copy of credentials of Radovan Stojanovic, the new ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Syria.

Minister Mikdad welcomed Ambassador Stojanovic, wishing him success in performing his duties and boosting relations between the two countries, describing relations between Syria and Serbia as historic and friendly.

Ambassador Stojanovic stressed as deep and friendly the relations between Syria and Serbia, expressing aspiration to work for the development of these relations in all fields, pointing out that there are many agreements and memos of understanding between the two countries that can be activated to enhance these relations.
