Restoration acts of Museum of Popular Traditions in Aleppo continue with high pace

Restoration acts of Museum of Popular Traditions continue at al-Jadidah neighborhood. The museum is considered as one of the historic houses of Aleppo, which was sabotaged and destroyed at the hands of terrorism.

 

SANA camera observed acts of restoration as Eng. Pierre Ghassan Zarz, the contractor of the restoration project said that the restoration works are currently underway which include the courtyard of the house with its unique decorations.

 

Zarz added that the restoration acts include sculptural works of stones and construction works for facades and ceilings, giving big care for heritage details, especially the old ornate stones, the rest of which are being restored and similar stones to be carved in the completely destroyed parts.

 

He stressed that the second phase of the restoration process will be completed within 10 days.

 

Zarz pointed out that the Museum of Popular Traditions is one of the most important monuments that attract visitors from all over the world due to its unique architecture and decorations.
