Health Ministry: 285 new coronavirus cases registered, 75 patients recover, 8 pass away

Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 285 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 75 infected persons recovered and 8 passed away.

 

In a statement to SANA the Ministry indicated that the number of registered COVID-19  infections in the country reached up to now 37,794,  out of which 24,720 cases have recovered, while 2,366 deaths have been reported.

 

The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd  in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29th  of the same month.
