Egypt elected as bureau member of FAO’s Committee on World Food Security

Egypt has been elected as a bureau member in the FAO’s Committee on World Food Security in Rome, Egyptian Ambassador to Italy Hisham Badr said Saturday 16/10/2021.

 

The bureau of the Committee on World Food Security is seen as one of the most important panels in FAO, Badr added.

 

The Bureau is the executive arm of the Committee on World Food Security. It is made up of a chairperson and twelve member countries: two each from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Near East and Latin America and one each from North America and South West Pacific.
