Damascus- Temperatures continue to drop to become from 3 to 6 degrees as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by cold northwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general and rain is expected over the southern heights and Qalamoun, while the weather will be cold at night, warning against frost and fog in the mountainous heights and inland areas.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 11/5, Daraa 11/3, Homs 10/1, Lattakia 13/7, Aleppo 7/-1 and Deir Ezzor 11/0.
