Syrian “About her” film gains best director award at Dcheira International Festival

Damascus,  Syrian short film Anha “About her” by director Rabab Mirhej won the best director award at the conclusion of the 4th Dcheira International Film Festival, Morocco.

31 Foreign and Arab and foreign films from 11 countries participated in the festival held under the slogan “Dcheira, Capital of Culture and Art

The film, which was produced by the General Organization for Cinema as a part of the project to support youth cinema, narrates a story of a woman who suffered from life in the form of monologues.

This woman challenged her conditions and sought rebellion through a story of a famous actress who is successful at her work, married to a poet who betrayed and tortured her and that caused stroke for her, and then she fell into a coma and died, but her husband continued his life without changing his behavior.
