Egyptian, Indian FMs mull boosting relations

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Friday received a phone call from his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

The two sides mulled ways to boost bilateral relations in all fields and push them forward to broader horizons, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez said in a statement.

The two ministers expressed keenness on ensuring the advancement of joint work and the continuation of pushing forward the course of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

They affirmed the importance of continuing consultations to coordinate stances on regional and international issues of common concern.
