Iran’s Azizi calls for strategic decisions in domain of cooperation with Syria

Assistant Chairman of Foreign Policy Committee at the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly (Shura) Ebrahim Azizi has underlined the necessity of making strategic decisions in the domain of cooperation with Syria.

 

In a press statement cited by Fars News Agency, Azizi highlighted the beginning of a new phase in the economic relations between Iran and Syria.

 

“Syria enjoys stability today, and the two countries have many common denominators, especially their people’s confrontation with terrorist and Takfiri groups,” he said.

 

Azizi stressed the need to work in order to employ joint energies to meet the two countries’ needs and to take advantage of the common economic opportunities available in both
