Egypt, S. Korea sign MoU on heritage cooperation

The Supreme Council of Antiquities and the South Korean Cultural Heritage Authority on Friday 21/01/2022 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the fields of antiquities and museums.

The MoU aims to contribute to establishing policies for the sustainable preservation of cultural property, supporting mutual cooperation in the fields of antiquities and museums, as well as exchanging expertise between both countries.

The first implementation of the agreement would be the restoration work of the first edifice in the Ramesseum Temple in Luxor, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities Mostafa Waziri said.
