As many as 28 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.
In a statement on Friday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 18,434 tons.
Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 45,599 tons, according to the statement.
Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 114,644 tons, it said.
