Sisi holds open dialogue with journalists, media men on key internal, external issues

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held on Thursday 21/4/2022 an expanded meeting with a host of journalists and media men after his tour of Toshka area in Upper Egypt earlier in the day.

 

The meeting witnessed an open dialogue, during which President Sisi listened to questions and concerns about key internal and external issues of interest to the public opinion, foremost of which are the economic repercussions of the Russia-Ukraine crisis on Egypt, its impact on prices, in addition to the State’s strategy to deal with all consequences, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

 

The questions also covered internal challenges, such as the efforts to combat terrorism, confront extremist ideology and preserve the national identity, as well as media and drama works in this regard.

 

The open dialogue also touched on the population issue and its negative results on development, the State’s strategy for economic reform, as well as a number of major national projects, topped by the Decent Life Presidential Initiative for rural development.
