President Abdel Fattah El Sisi call for a national dialogue among all political parties gives a boost to political freedom, Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria Samy Fawzy said.

“This call goes hand in hand with the State’s economic and social development efforts,” Fawzy added in a statement Sunday.

He noted the president’s initiative had been widely welcomed by many political forces, as well as religious and political institutions looking forward to fruitful results that serve the common good.

Fawzy also wished Egypt further progress, prosperity, and political stability.
