A number families have been displaced from Abu Rasen township, Hasaka northwestern countryside, after it has been subjected to shelling attacks by Turkish occupation and its terrorist groups.

“Over the past two days, the number of families who have been displaced from Abu Rasen township and nearby villages towards Tal Tamir township and other safer villages has reached more than 130 families,” Director of Social Affairs Department in Hasaka, Ibrahim Khalaf told SANA.

Khalaf noted that no displaced families have arrived Hasaka city so far, and for several days, the Turkish occupation has intensified its shelling attacks on Abu Rasen and Tal Tamir townships and other villages, causing material damages to the civilians’ houses and the infrastructure.
