Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli asserted the government’s utmost keenness on reaching out to investors as part of efforts exerted by the state to solve all problems facing them and remove any obstacles.

Madbouli’s remarks were made during a meeting with UAE businessman Omar Abdulla al Futtaim, the CEO of Al Futtaim Group, that was held to follow up on national projects on Wednesday.

Minister of Trade and Industry Nivine Gamea attended the meeting.

The premier said the state is welcoming foreign investments, which, he added, are mainly contributing to supporting national economy.

Madbouli commended achievements made by Al Futtaim Group in the Egyptian markets over the past years.

He pointed out the state is seeking to promote the role of the private sector in investment in the coming period.

Given the fact the state has prepared its property document, which will be probed in societal dialogue sessions, the document aims to attract further foreign investments and boost confidence of international institutions in the Egyptian economy, he added.
