Chief Executive Officer of ENI Claudio Descalzi said on Tuesday 30/8/2022 Egypt is one of the main countries in the region in the field of energy production and exportation in light of recent discoveries made under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Descalzi’s remarks came during his meeting with President Sisi in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Petroleum Minister Tarek el Molla.
According to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady, the meeting touched on the Italian oil company’s current and coming activities in Egypt and cooperation in renewable energy projects.
