Syria, South Africa discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation

Damascus, SANA- Governor of Damascus Mohammed Kreshati discussed Sunday with Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Syria Barry Gilder means of boosting bilateral ties in all fields; particularly service, economic and investment sectors.

 

Kreshati underlined the historical relations between Syria and South Africa and the necessity of presenting the reality of events in Syria to the public opinion in South Africa, asserting the readiness of the governorate to cooperate and provide all facilities to south African companies willing to participate in reconstruction and investment in Syria.

 

The Governor hailed South Africa Republic’s support to Syria at international forums throughout years of war on the country.

 

For his part, the Ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to promote the investment cooperation, and he pointed out that he conveys the true image of what is taking place in Syria in light of media disinformation.
