PM: Gov’t working on supporting exporters to enhance Egyptian exports

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted on Thursday 29/9/2022 that the government is exerting great efforts to provide possible ways of support and surpass obstacles facing exporters in order to enhance Egyptian exports.

 

This comes after directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi who instructed to work on to increase the volume of exports to reach USD 100 billion.

 

This came during Madbouli’s meeting with Finance Minister Mohamed Maait and Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir to follow up the latest developments concerning exports rebates program.

 

During the meeting, Maait reviewed his ministry’s efforts to provide funds required to the exports rebates program, noting that EGP 33.5 billion were spent on initiatives aiming at supporting exports.

 

While Samir reviewed Export Development Fund’s efforts that include some export performance indicators benefiting from the exports rebates program.
