Maestro Misak Baghboudarian leads the Arab Youth Philharmonic Orchestra in Cairo

Cairo, SANA-Maestro Misak Baghboudarian, conductor of the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra, led the Arab Youth Philharmonic Orchestra in two musical evenings, the first at the Alexandria Opera House, and the second evening on the stage of the Republic Theater in Cairo.

In a statement to SANA reporter in Cairo Maestro Baghboudrian said on Tuesday “the Arab Youth Philharmonic Orchestra meets every year and includes young musicians”, pointing out that “the 2022 edition included about 50 string players from several Arab countries, including Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt”.

 

The orchestra has achieved great success since its inception in Damascus in 2006 where its first session was held.
