Secretary General of Syrian Socialist Party Safwan al-Qudsi passed away, aged 82

Damascus, SANA- Central leadership of the National Progressive Front mourned Friday one of its members, Safwan al-Qudsi, the Secretary General of the Syrian Arab Socialist Union Party, who died this morning at the age of 82.

The Syrian thinker was born in 1940 in Damascus.

Al-Qudsi was a member at the People’s Assembly in 1977, and in 1978 he was appointed as a State Minister.

Al-Qudsi was also a member at Arab Writers Union, with 11 books in politics, history and contemporary thought were written by him.
