Mamish: Egypt to be regional source of green hydrogen

Presidential Adviser for the projects of the Suez Canal axis and Ports Mohab Mamish said Egypt will be a regional source of green hydrogen in light of presidential directives to start the implementation of the green hydrogen projects in the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Ain Sokhna.

In statements to MENA on Sunday, Mamish lauded the Alexandria Dialogues Forum, held under the title “Egyptian Water Security: Threats, Risks and Means of Confrontation” by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

He pointed out that Egypt has major ports and large maritime services, which are needed to be utilized.

He added that Egypt is the strongest country in the region and have great capabilities and that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is keen on enhancing ports that are connecting Egypt with the whole world.
