Higher Education Minister Ayman Ashour headed on Saturday 24/12/2022 the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities to review its recent activities at the local and international levels.
Ashour discussed the outcome of his visit to London to take part in the Higher Education Investment Forum in London and his ministerial meeting on the launch of the Support Fund for Talents of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, held in Morocco.
The minister also talked about his meetings with his counterparts from Morocco, Yemen, and Sudan and ambassadors of Lebanon, Jordan, India and Italy in Cairo to discuss boosting cooperation in scientific research and higher education.
The council asserted the universities’ support to persons with special gifts in different ways while studying at the universities, showing its full cooperation with the Decent Life initiative by launching more medical, veterinary, and agricultural convoys as well as holding educational seminars, events, and other activities.
