The House of Representatives under Speaker Hanafy el Gebali approved presidential decree No. 633 of year 2022 regarding the third amendment introduced to the grant agreement between Egypt and the French Development Agency (AFD) on the program of developing shantytowns and supporting employment.

The agreement, inked in Cairo on October 10, 2022, includes providing additional grant not more than 3 million euros.

Earlier, the House of Representatives referred presidential decree No. 633 to a joint committee group panels of medium, small and micro projects along with panels from local development, energy and environment, foreign affairs and housing.
