Egypt denounced on Tuesday 17/1/2023 the terrorist blast that targeted a Pentecostal church in Kasindi, in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), leaving scores of casualties.

In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry, Egypt offered its sincerest condolences to the families of the victims, the DRC government and people, voicing hope over a quick recovery for the injured people.

The Foreign Ministry also asserted its full solidarity with DRC in countering all forms of extremism and terrorism that aims at destabilizing its security and stability.
