Baghdad, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi headed today, Sunday, at the head of a delegation from the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union to Syria.
The media office of the Speaker of Parliament stated in a statement: ” Al-Halbousi headed a delegation from the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union to Syria.”
Yesterday, Saturday, during the 34th conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, which was held in Baghdad, the President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, announced the formation of a delegation from the Union to visit Syria, affirming the support of the Syrian people.
