Relatively cold weather to prevail Tuesday

Amman: Temperatures on Tuesday are forecast to be around their seasonal average, with relatively cold weather prevailing in the highlands, while it will be fair elsewhere, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

 

Clouds will appear at low altitudes in the northern and central regions, and winds will be southeasterly light.

 

On Wednesday and Thursday, relatively cold weather will prevail in most regions, with clouds at various altitudes and scattered showers in the eastern part of the Kingdom, accompanied by thunder and northwesterly moderate winds.

 

Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 7C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 27C, sliding to 16C at night.
