Baghdad The Anti-Terrorism Service arrested (8) terrorists in several regions of the country.

The Service stated in a statement: “A force of our heroes carried out the duty of arresting one of the wanted persons in Kirkuk, indicating that, as part of maintaining coordination with the Kurdistan Region, the Sulaymaniyah Anti-Terrorism Regiment, one of the wanted persons was arrested.”

It added: Our forces, in cooperation with the Erbil Anti-Terrorism Directorate, managed to arrest one of the wanted persons.

It added that in Salah al-Din Governorate, al-Sharqat district, a terrorist was arrested, and in the central regions, in coordination with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, a terrorist was arrested in the capital, Baghdad, al-Jame`a district. Another terrorist was arrested in al-Anbar Governorate, al-Habbaniyah district.

It explained that, in a lightning operation in southern Baghdad, in the Yusufiya district, one of the workers in the military detachments of the so-called Fallujah state was arrested, and then transferred to the so-called southern state of the fleeting Kharafa states.

The statement indicated that the Service’s heroes carried out a duty in Diyala Governorate, Khalis District (Albu Bali), which resulted in the arrest of one of the wanted outlaws and one of the participants in the events in (Al-Jayalia) area.
