Riyadh, March 10, 2023, SPA — Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority – Monsha’at – to boost entrepreneurship in and around the city of Diriyah.
The MoU entails cooperation between DGDA and Monsha’at on marketing opportunities, media coverage, the exchange of data, expertise and studies, and collaboration on pioneering projects and innovation.
Mr Guy Perry, President of Diriyah Development Company, and Mr Saud Alsabhan, Vice Governor of Entrepreneurship of Monsha’at, signed the agreement.
Commenting on the signing of the MoU, Mr Perry stressed that the authority seeks to enhance cooperation efforts throughout several areas. He pointed out that cooperation includes contributing to project development through improving incubators and business accelerators and the participation of experts in the field. There are also opportunities to benefit from the services provided by Monsha’at and to increase the positive impact of its services in Diriyah.
He added, “This MoU’s importance lies in its potential to promote collaboration, data and information exchange, and greater coordination across several joint initiatives.”
For his part, Mr Saud Alsabhan said that the MoU includes collaboration on nominating pioneering projects and innovations to enroll in Monsha’at’s programs and Thakaa Center.
