The foreign ministries of the Sultanate of Oman and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka today held the 3rd session of talks.

During the session, held via video-conferencing, the two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation in various fields and means of enhancing them to serve joint interests. They also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Hamad Saif Al Rawahi, Head of International Cooperation Department at the Foreign Ministry, while the Sri Lankan side was headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affair’s Additional Secretary for Middle East and African Affairs and Consular Affairs.

The session was also attended by Ahmed Lebbe Sabarullah Khan, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman and Mohammad Salim Jadad Al Kathiri, Acting Head of the West Asia Department at the Foreign Ministry. It was also attended by officials from both sides.
