Seventeen murders and 35 deaths in road accidents have been recorded in Palestine since the start of the year, today said police spokesman Loai Irzeiqat. He told the official Voice of Palestine radio that the security services were able to solve most of the murder cases while the remaining ones are still under investigation. He also said 35 people have died in 7,000 road accidents so far this year, urging people to drive safely and according to the law, mainly on highways, to save lives.
