The legislative session continues as the General Assembly of the Lebanese Parliament has approved on Thursday two draft laws related to agreements with the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

The first law, specified in Decree No. 9288, concerning the approval of a loan agreement with the EIB to contribute to financing the “Roads and Labor Project” in Lebanon, has been passed with amendments.

Following that, a second law outlined in Decree No. 9910, pertaining to the approval of an agreement between the Government of the Lebanese Republic and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies regarding the legal status of the Federation in Lebanon, has also been approved.
