Amman: UNRWA media adviser in Gaza, Adnan Abu Hasna,, said that tens of thousands of people were forced to flee to the Rafah area as a result of the Israeli bombing of Khan Yunis, with many of them living in plastic tents close to the border fence.

In a statement on Wednesday, Abu Hasna warned of deteriorating health conditions, including the rise of intestinal and skin disorders, meningitis, and liver infections as winter arrived.

He predicted that health and environmental circumstances will deteriorate further, noting that overcrowding in shelters promotes the spread of many diseases.

Earlier today, Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced that the occupation force was besieging the Nasser Medical Complex, which was in desperate need of medical supplies, food, and fuel.
