DUBAI: Ali Al Abed, Minister of Labour, Rehabilitation and Civil Service of the Government of National Unity in Libya, said that government administration in the Arab world requires considerable development and upskilling, stressing that the Arab Government Administration Forum at the World Governments Summit plays a key role in advancing government work

In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) during his participation in the second day of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024 in Dubai, Ali Al Abed pointed out that the Youth Leadership Programme is one of the most important outputs of the Arab Government Administration Forum.

He added that the Arab world possesses qualified youth with the potential to significantly improve government work.

The minister stressed the need to invest in youth empowerment to propel them to the forefront and assume leadership positions, highlighting the importance of providing employee training, and keeping pace with digital transformation and artificial intelligence in
various fields.
