THE HAGUE: Ireland’s delegation to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has said on Thursday that Israel is and has been engaged in a “process of annexation” of the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Irish delegation said during the public hearings that Israel prevented the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.

Israel’s settlement activity threatened the “viability of a future Palestinian state,” the Irish delegation added.
