MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain today received His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at Al-Sakhir Palace in Manama, on a brotherly visit to Bahrain.

The reception ceremony was attended by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of the King and President of the Supreme Council for Environment; His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs; and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

At the start of the meeting, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain expressed his deep satisfaction with the enduring historical ties between Bahrain and the UAE, their respective leaderships, and their brotherly people – adding that these ties, roo
ted in the profound bonds of brotherhood, shared vision, and mutual understanding, continue to strengthen.

His Majesty praised the prominent position held by the UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, both regionally and internationally. He also commended the UAE’s significant achievements and ongoing successes across various fields, as well as its respected global initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people around the world, and promoting the values of coexistence, tolerance, and cooperation among nations.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, wishing His Majesty the King and the people of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity, and relations between the two countries further success.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the deep historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain, which the leaders
