TULKARM: A young Palestinian man, identified as Mohammad Jaafar Mustafa Jabr, was shot dead by undercover Israeli military units on Monday night near the town of Attil, located north of the city of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The incident occurred when an undercover Israeli special force, operating from a civilian vehicle, opened a hail of gunfire at two young men inside a commercial shop located at the junction near the town of Attil. The deliberate shooting resulted in both individuals sustaining critical gunshot wounds.

The same sources revealed that Israeli forces prevented ambulance vehicles from reaching the injured young men. One of them, who was shot in the thigh with live ammunition, was eventually transferred to the Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in Tulkarm city. Upon arrival, his injuries were described as severe.

Furthermore, the sources added, the Israeli soldiers barred medical teams from accessing the second victim, Jabr, leaving him to bleed to death.

Jabr, who hails from the town of Arraba in the Jenin province, was announced dead of his critical injuries about an hour later. Following his killing, the Israeli occupation forces transported his body to an unknown location.
