Justice Minister, Judge Henry Khoury, on Tuesday condemned in a statement ‘the heinous organized crime that began with the abduction of Pascal Sleiman, resulting in his death, a tragedy that deeply saddened the entire nation, not just the districts of Jbeil and Keserwan.’

Expressing heartfelt condolences to his family and the Lebanese Forces political party, Khoury affirmed that he was ‘closely monitoring the investigation and its progress with the Public Prosecution and relevant security apparatuses to apprehend those involved, regardless of their affiliations, and to ensure the harshest penalties are imposed on them, in defense of truth, justice, and the memory of the victim.’
