MANAMA: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received a call from his Japanese counterpart, Yoko Kamikawa.

Bahrain News Agency (BNA) stated that the two ministers discussed the progress of the deep-rooted friendly Bahraini-Japanese relations, which are growing steadily across various fields.

They also reviewed ways to bolster bilateral cooperation and coordination at all levels, in a way that would serve the interests of both countries and their peoples.

They also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the war in the Gaza Strip, and the ongoing efforts to establish peace, security and stability, as well as avoid military escalation. Regional and global issues of mutual interest were also reviewed.
