China Launches New Group of Low Earth Orbit Satellites

Wenchang: China successfully launched a new group of low Earth orbit satellites from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in the southern island province of Hainan.

According to Emirates News Agency, this satellite group is the eighth of its kind and will be part of an internet constellation. The launch was conducted using a Long March-5B carrier rocket, which included a Yuanzheng-2 (Expedition-2) upper stage at the top of the rocket.

The satellites have successfully entered their preset orbit, marking another achievement for China's space program. This mission is the 588th for the Long March series carrier rockets, demonstrating the reliability and continued use of this launch vehicle.
