Ajman:The Ajman Artificial Intelligence Lab began its activities today under the Ajman Artificial Intelligence Programme, led by Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi. The initiative brings together representatives from government entities and Programme committees to develop practical use cases that address real government work challenges and needs.
According to Wam, Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matrooshi, the Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman, inspected the Lab's operations. During his visit, he reviewed the Lab's progress and key focus areas, toured the participating work teams, and listened to presentations on the ideas and use cases being developed. The Lab aims to leverage artificial intelligence applications to tackle challenges in government work.
The Lab is organized under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. Its goal is to drive a government-wide transformation by enhancing the adoption of artificial intelligence applications, improving government services, and boosting performance efficiency in line with Ajman Vision 2030.
Over the course of two days, the Lab focuses on the practical application of the Artificial Intelligence Conceptual Reference for Ajman Government. Participants are engaged in identifying and assessing opportunities based on institutional readiness, risk, and expected value criteria. The first day included interactive sessions and practical activities where participants addressed real challenges, developed initial use cases for Agentic AI, and shared expertise to craft innovative solutions.
The Lab will continue tomorrow, further developing proposed use cases and presenting the outputs of the work teams. This effort is in preparation for determining the next steps under the Ajman Artificial Intelligence Programme.
