Baghdad, The Border Ports Authority announced the seizure of a kilogram of ( hashish) in the possession of a foreign traveler at Shalamcheh border crossing.
The authority stated in a statement that: “A foreign traveler was arrested with a substance (narcotic cannabis) weighing 1 kg hidden inside his shoes.”
It added: “A committee was formed, a record of seizure was duly organized, and the accused was referred to the Shalamcheh Customs Police, to present the matter before the investigating judge.”
