A message from President al-Assad to Mauritanian counterpart, conveyed by Mikdad via phone

Foreign and Expatriates Minister ,Fayssal  Mikdad, made a phone call on Sunday with Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad of Mauritania.

 

Mikdad conveyed  a message sent by  President Bashar al-Assad to the Mauritanian President ,Mohamed Ould Al Sheikh Ghazouani, asking about his health and wishing  quick recovery for President Ghazouani  after been infected by Coronavirus .

 

President al-Assad  also wished more success and prosperity for  the Mauritanian people.

 

During the phone call, Mikdad discussed with his Mauritanian counterpart the track  of bilateral relations and means of boosting them in a way that meets the aspirations of the brotherly peoples in Syria and Mauritania.
