Al-Amarah A Maysan police force arrested a suspect sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for committing a murder against a citizen in one of the governorate’s areas.
The Maysan Police Command said in a statement: “The arrest process took place after monitoring and tracking the movements of the accused and relying on reliable sources to determine his whereabouts, as his recent movements were monitored in Al-Jazeera region of Ali Al-Gharbi district in the north of the governorate, and as a result, the force was directed, chased, clamped down on him and arrested him without any incident mentioned, indicating that he was taken to the security detention center to complete the legal procedures against him. / End
