A Syrian team won first place in the International Mental calculation Olympiad “Alberto Coto” in Spain.
Hundreds of talented pupils representing more than 200 countries, including Syria, participated in the competition through the global mental arithmetic platform.
The Syrian team coach, Rawda Al-Miktaf, told SANA reporter that Jad Al-Bayoush and Arin Saqr won two gold medals, while Azad Khalaf and Dara Jamal ranked second in the international competition.
She noted that the competition was held virtually and supervised by the International champion in the mental math calculations Alberto Coto.
