Baghdad / NINA /- The security forces arrested one of those wanted by the judiciary and seized a number of different weapons, communication devices and a drone in Diyala.
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahia Rasool Abdullah, said that, according to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Iraqi Special Forces launched large-scale operations in Diyala to enhance security and stability in the various regions of the province. As it carried out a series of duties and tasks, which resulted in the arrest of one of those wanted by the judiciary, and the seizure of a number of different weapons, communication devices and a drone, as well as violating vehicle and motorcycles.
He added that these forces will deal immediately and seize any unauthorized force carrying weapons outside the framework of the law.
He continued: The security of our dear provinces cannot be underestimated, whether in Diyala or other provinces, and that our heroic security forces have clear orders to impose security and stability and arrest anyone who tries to tamper with security./ End
