Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said that the Israeli settlers’ storming of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, along with daily Israeli killings of Palestinians, will not give legitimacy to the occupation.

Abu Rudeineh added that the daily war waged by the Israeli occupation authorities against Palestinians people, their cities, villages, and camps, the most recent of which was in Tulkarm, where two young men were killed and others injured, will push the region toward explosion.

The presidential spokesman said that the US administration bears responsibility for this dangerous Israeli escalation through its silence regarding these crimes and its contentment with statements of condemnation, without any action on the ground to stop this dangerous Israeli escalation.

He called on the US administration to intervene immediately with practical steps on the ground to curb the Israeli aggression against Palestinians people, their land, and their holy places, before it is too late.

Abu Rudeineh stress
ed that this continuing Israeli aggression will not deter Palestinians people from continuing their legitimate struggle and adhering to their principles and rights, until the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
