ADREC Dispute Centre Achieves 83% Success Rate in Q3 2024

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) has reported notable success at its Real Estate Dispute Settlement Centre in the third quarter of 2024, achieving an 83% success rate in resolving disputes. The Centre successfully completed 808 out of 969 cases filed, with a significant portion of these cases concluding through reconciliation. According to Emirates News Agency, the Centre's latest report highlights its commitment to efficient dispute resolution, focusing on fostering collaboration and trust within the real estate sector. A major accomplishment this quarter was the reconciliation of 210 disputes, with reconciled values exceeding AED526 million, contributing to the financial stability of Abu Dhabi's real estate market. Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director-General at ADREC, emphasized the importance of the Centre's role in creating a more transparent and investor-friendly market. "The continued success of the dispute resolution process shows how we are simplifying the journey for all parties, m aking the market more transparent and welcoming for investors. We are proud to see more cases ending in reconciliation, which is a cornerstone of our long-term strategy to strengthen collaboration and build trust," he stated. The Centre maintained a proactive approach by conducting 1,934 dispute resolution sessions during the quarter. For disputes requiring legal intervention, 598 cases were referred to the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, ensuring that all parties involved receive appropriate legal support.
