Agriculture ministers of Syria, Iraq , Jordan and Lebanon stress the need of consolidating integration

Amman ,SANA- In the two-day meetings brought them together in the capital city of Amman, agriculture ministers of Syria ,Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon stressed the importance of establishing a regional center for food security, promoting trade exchange and facilitating the flow of agriculture commodities among the four states.

 

The ministers agreed upon setting frameworks for promoting food security and technical cooperation at sector of crops and livestock, exchanging expertise and building the capabilities in addition to promoting the integration among the states in light of the international changes.

 

The four ministers also agreed on facilitating trade ,developing the infrastructure and encouraging investment ,along with upgrading coordination to encounter the climate change , scarcity of water resources and the spread of epidemics .In addition to exchanging information and experiences and implementing joint development projects in cooperation with regional and international organizations.
