ABU DHABI: The Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) has affirmed that the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) opens up a promising outlook for investment partnerships that stimulate sustainable economic growth.
In a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the summit’s opening today, Assia Ben Saad, Director of Cooperation and Partnerships at AMDIE, said that the agency is the main driver of the Kingdom of Morocco’s economic vision and is keen to participate in this annual investment forum in Abu Dhabi alongside other economic institutions to highlight the economic dynamism and promising investment opportunities in Morocco.
She added that the Kingdom has great potential and is distinguished by its strategic location as a gateway between Europe and Africa, in addition to its developed infrastructure, highly skilled human resources, and favourable and attractive investment climate.
She stressed that the UAE and Morocco enjoy strong fraternal relations and a growing
partnership in all fields, including the economic and investment sectors, pointing out that the AIM Congress is an important platform for exploring new avenues of cooperation, especially in light of the wide participation from several countries as well as entrepreneurs, experts and investors from around the world.
The AIM Congress attracts more than 12,000 participants from 175 countries around the world, including senior officials in local and foreign governments, decision-makers, investment experts and academics to review and assess the current investment landscape in order to achieve more resilient, sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
