Baghdad, The head of Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, received in his office in Baghdad today, Thursday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of members of the coordination framework.
The meeting witnessed, according to a statement by Al-Amiri’s office, many issues of common concern and various developments in Iraq and the region.
The two sides pointed to the depth of bilateral relations and commonalities between the two countries, and stressed the need to enhance cooperation prospects at various levels.
For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister praised the reforms undertaken by the Iraqi government and the successes it achieved at the international level and in many areas, most notably economic reform and combating corruption.
