AL-ASMAR AND THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE TURKISH FEDERATION VISITED THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TRIPOLI, THE PORT, THE UNIONS AND THE OIL FACILITIES IN THE CITY

The head of the General Labor Union, Bechara Al-Asmar, the Secretary-General of the Union, Saad Eddin Hamidi Saqr, and the Secretary-General of the Turkish Federation Ahmed Halfaya, accompanied by the head of the trade unions and workers sector in the “Al-Azm” movement, Captain Ghassan Yakan, and the President of the Federation of Trade Unions and Employees in the North, Captain Shadi Al-Sayed, visited a number of One of the trade unions in Tripoli.

 

A meeting was held at the Municipal Palace in El Mina, where the union delegation was received by Engineer Amer Haddad and the Workers’ Syndicate, Ahmed Morsali.

 

Al-Asmar, Halfaya and Al-Sayed listened to the workers in the two municipalities and presented the captains to the workers’ problems and needs, provided that a letter would be directed to the Turkish Workers’ Union in this regard.

 

Also, Al-Asmar, Halfaya and Mr. Weken visited the Tripoli municipality, and met the head of the Municipal Workers’ Syndicate, Omar Dalal, members of the union’s council, and a number of workers.

Then Al-Asmar, the accompanying delegation, and the Turkish guest, Wakan, moved to the Tripoli oil facilities, and they first met with the facilities manager Hadi Husami, Captain Khaled Al-Dhaibi and Captain Bassam Issa.

 

Then a meeting was held in the Facilities Club with the workers of the refinery and downstream unions, and the reality of the workers and the problems of the two unions was presented.
